Mr. Suresh Nagarajan, the CEO of DB Power Ltd, is a Chartered Accountant who graduated in 1992 with an All India Rank of 11. He is also a qualified Company Secretary, having completed his studies in 1993. With more than three decades of experience, Suresh brings over 25 years of expertise in the power sector.

He initiated his career at SBI Capital Markets in 1992 and has since worked with leading organizations such as PSEG India (an American Utility), Tata Power, Reliance Power, and RPSG Group. As a seasoned professional in the power sector, he has a comprehensive understanding of both Thermal and Renewable sectors, covering various aspects of the value chain, including Business Development, Project Finance, Commercial & Contracts, and Overall P&L Responsibility.

Suresh Nagarajan played a crucial role in the development of the first Ultra Mega Power Project in the country with a captive coal mine, namely the 4000 MW Sasan UMPP, from concept to commissioning and successful operations. He has also been instrumental in the development of Solar & Wind Power Projects, including Solar CSP projects.
