The senior management role overseeing the overall operations, maintenance, and performance of the power generation facility at 2×600 MW, DB Power Limited, Raigarh, Chhattisgarh, is that of a Plant Head. In this capacity, the individual is responsible for managing a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff to ensure the safe and efficient generation of electricity.

As the Plant Head, accountability extends to meeting production targets, adhering to environmental and statutory regulations, optimizing plant efficiency, and ensuring the availability of resources such as coal and water at the plant’s end, as well as equipment and services to meet day-to-day operation needs. Additionally, the role involves playing a critical part in budgeting, planning, safety, health, implementing systems and processes, and continually improving existing projects to enhance the plant’s performance and reliability.

The Plant Head is also responsible for 100% ash utilization, collaborating with the Ash Utilization Team. Overall, the Plant Head plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the power plant and the reliable and uninterrupted supply of electricity in accordance with grid regulations.
