Mr. Girish Agarwal serves as the Managing Director of D B Power Limited (“DBPL”). He is the Promoter and Director of DB Corp Ltd. (DBCL), the flagship company of the Dainik Bhaskar Group. Mr. Agarwal was awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year for the year 2006 in the Media & Entertainment category by Ernst & Young. He has also received the “Outstanding Entrepreneur” award in APEA (Asia Pacific Entrepreneur Awards).

As a new-age leader, he plays a pivotal role in the Company’s growth through his emphasis on innovation, strategy formulation, operational control, and financial management. Mr. Agarwal’s leadership has been the guiding force for the group’s power sector foray. Under his guidance, DBPL secured private equity funding.
